Wagait Beach Holiday Houses
Our spacious three bedroom houses are elevated, adjacent and eco-sustainable. They are located on two, single acre beachfront blocks and set at the very end of beautiful Wagait Beach village (Darwin’s best kept secret). Endless miles of native bushland and remote beaches extend westward beyond our holiday houses – just waiting to be explored.
Each self-serviced house is fully furnished and fully air-conditioned. Bed linen, cooking and washing facilities are provided at each house. The TV and mobile reception are excellent and the Beach House is provided with free internet access. Just settle in and enjoy the cool sea breezes in a peaceful bush setting right at pristine sandy “Imaluk Beach”. The visiting wallabies and abundant birdlife are friendly visitors. Experience great fishing/mud-crabbing, beachcombing, hiking, bird watching and glorious red-ochre sunsets. Located next to a beach access boat ramp. Take a short 150m stroll to the Cox Peninsula Country Club where the locals gather for a quiet beer/wine and meal in the evenings (Thursday to Sunday). The nearby Wagait Beach Supermarket also provides takeaway meals.
Solar panel arrays provide power (with PAWA grid backup) alongside solar hot-water systems. Never ending iconic windmill bore-water supply provides excellent spring-fed drinking water. Our aerated septic systems dispense re-useable “grey water” for the garden. An idyllic eco-sustainable holiday getaway and so close to Darwin CBD.
